2025: a year of connection, care, and solidarity at Duarte Garcia

publicado_em 12/16/2025 14:08

In 2025, our Firm reaffirmed its essential value that together we can care and support.

We created the DG Solidário Project, a space dedicated not only to social actions but to promoting empathy and creating real bonds with people in vulnerable situations. The proposal was to experience, every two months, moments that reinforce our purpose of looking beyond the Firm.

Throughout the year, we carried out several in-person actions:

  • April: Easter

We delivered chocolate eggs to 140 children at Casa do Tiaminho (Embu das Artes) and NGO Sonhar Acordado (Belenzinho).

  • June: Support for the Elderly

We visited Casa das Vovozinhas (Missão Belém), providing a "Brazilian June Festival" afternoon with bingo, music, and hygiene kits.

  • August: Actions with Children and Youth

We visited Lar Agrícola for games and painting activities.

  • October: Children's Day and Pink October

We have been at the SAICA - Padre Batista and SAICA - Dandara, Institutional Shelters for Children and Adolescents, with snacks, gifts from the Firm's godparents, and lots of fun.

We visited the Hospital da Mulher (Women's Hospital), offering a special breakfast, gifts (scarves, jewelry), and hair donations for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Throughout the year, we also dedicated ourselves to existing long-term projects and internal mobilization initiatives:

For three months, we exchanged letters with children from Casa José Coltro, concluding with an emotional meeting and book gifts.

  • Nós Duarte Garcia - Solidarity Bazaar

We collected clothes and accessories from the team for an internal sale, allocating funds to social projects and remaining items to the Social Wardrobe Project.

To end this cycle of love and solidarity on a high note, our Christmas Campaign allocated part of the Bazaar funds to donate a complete library to Projeto Confio. On December 13th, we delivered the books and reading passports to encourage the habit of reading among children and adolescents in Parque Santa Amélia.

We wish everyone Happy Holidays and a 2026 filled with solidarity.
